Have you been unable to find some of the products that you need to purchase? Or maybe, you have experienced longer than usual shipping times for your orders?

Well, you are surely not the only one. People all around the world are being affected by the global shipping crisis and supply chain shortage.

The supply chain disruption began over a year ago. It is a result of many things.

There has been low productivity in shipping services since the start of the pandemic. Social distancing requirements as well as low vaccination rates amongst members of the shipping industry have slowed things down immensely.

Along with the labor shortage, there has been a spike in demand for all types of goods. This includes everyday household items, food, technology, and raw materials for businesses. People’s panic-buying and stocking up on goods for lockdowns and uncertain times are a major cause for this. The workers at the ports, warehouses, and trucking companies are having a hard time keeping up with such high demand. People are ordering more goods than ever before, while the labor force is at its lowest.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused our customers and assure you that this is a global issue that is not only affecting your orders but delaying processes around the world.

All of this is estimated to end between early 2022 and the end of 2023. However, it is difficult to give a solid answer as to when the crisis will end.
