Trans Caribe Express Shippers is truly blessed. Despite being a smaller operation compared to other major shippers, we were able to successfully clear all of our containers with minor challenges. Sadly, many other shippers continue to face difficulties clearing containers dating back to November 2025, with many customers still waiting to receive freight sent for hurricane Melissa relief. The last article I read in February 2026 reported that one popular shipper had over 70 containers at the wharf waiting to be stripped. While many shipping companies shipped freight on time, the issue with clearing containers at the wharf was extremely delayed.

Although Trans Caribe encountered its own challenges during the peak season, which was also impacted by Hurricane Melissa, we remained diligent and committed. We cleared and stripped all of our containers within a reasonable timeframe.

Our Kingston team recently conducted an inventory of the remaining 2025 freight and reached out to customers again to inform them that their items are still in the warehouse. Many of our customers expressed that they currently do not have the funds to pick up their shipments.

Through it all, we remain grateful for both the blessings and the challenges, as these circumstances have played a role in shaping who we are today.

Kudos to Trans Caribe’s management and staff, both in NJ and Kingston, for their resilience and dedication. May God continue to grant us wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. May He cover and keep us, and may we always maintain a posture of gratitude in spite of any challenges we face.

Gratitude is not a reaction; it’s a posture.
